Four students represented Howard Middle School in the 2019 Florida Music Education Association’s All-State Ensemble in Tampa. The students were selected as best musicians among other musicians in the state. They performed on Jan. 12 alongside other students for middle school treble chorus and middle school concert chorus. The Howard Dance Troupe participated with the Pilobolus at Play residency at Dr. Phillips Center. The dancers learned improvisation skills and movement creation skills through peer-to-peer feedback. They performed their piece on Jan. 11 highlighting collaborative choreography.
