Fab Fringe featuring El Wiz

The award-winning hit of the 27th Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, “El Wiz,” hits The Abbey as a celebration of Orlando Fringe’s 28th year running. This is a version of the Wizard of Oz set in Puerto Rico, where it’s survived a hurricane. Dorothy’s journey with friends will be filled with a celebration of Latin heritage, hope, and heart.
Parking at The Abbey is available for $8. Ticket prices vary and are available for purchase on orlandofringe.org along with other event information.
Girls’ Night Out: Make a Living Succulent Picture Frame Workshop
March 7 at 7 p.m.
Head on out to East End Market and create your own living frame using a variety of locally grown succulents. You’ll learn how to design, plant and care for your creation with FarmGal Flowers. In Between Series: Karl Berger Improvisors Orchestra

This presentation from the Downtown Arts District and Timucua Arts Foundation includes a documentary screening and an orchestra performance, featuring Ingrid Sertso, Billy Martin and the UCF New Music Ensemble. Lake Lawsona/Fern Creek Neighborhood Watch Meeting

American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb
March 23 at 8 a.m.
This event raises funds for those impacted by lung disease. Participants will run up 512 steps at the Bank of America Center in downtown Orlando. Registration is open on action.lung.org and open to solo runners, companies or other groups.
