Milk District Neighborhood Seed & Plant Swap Picnic

April 3 at 6:30 p.m.

This second annual swap will give neighbors the chance to learn from each other at Cherry Tree Park. Those who participate will be able to learn more about gardening and trade plants or seeds with others. The Milk District Neighborhood Association will provide food and drinks, while supplies last, but encourage you to bring something to grill or a side to share with others.

UCF Celebrates the Arts 2019

April 5 – 14 at various times

The UCF arts program will showcase its own performers and artists at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with musical performances or plays. It’s an event the whole family can enjoy. For more information on specific events and days, please visit arts.


FAVO First Friday Art Party

April 5 at 5 p.m.

Thirty-six artists will have their studios on display at this event at Faith Arts Village Orlando. There will be live music, food and guest artists. Free parking is available. Head over to for more information.

This family friendly event at First United Methodist Church of Orlando is perfect to invite your neighbors and friends to. You can bring your picnic lunch, blanket and chairs to enjoy the day while the kids hunt for easter eggs! Don’t forget to bring a basket!

Spring Fiesta in the Park 2019

April 6, 7 at 10 a.m.

Taco & Tequila Crawl: Orlando

April 13 at 12 p.m.

Central Florida Earth Day 2019

April 20 at 10 a.m.

Learn about eco-friendly products and how to live a healthier life at Lake Eola Park. This event will feature guest speakers, environmental education, artist corners, live music and more. The money raised will benefit local environmental education and outreach. Find out more at

Thornton Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt

April 20 at 10 a.m.

It’s that time of year for you and the kids to go out to Mayor Carl Langford Park! The hunt begins at 10:15 a.m. with photo opportunities available with the Easter Bunny beforehand. Refreshments will be available for anyone attending this event.

AIDS Walk Orlando

April 27 at 7:30 a.m.

This walk will take place at Disney Amphitheatre at Lake Eola Park and raises awareness for those affected by HIV/AIDS. It will benefit the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida, Inc, which works toward stopping new HIV infections and connecting people to quality, affordable health care.
