The Milk District hires new director

Zac Alfson has been hired as Executive Director for The Milk District, an Orlando Main Streets business district located on the eastern edge of downtown Orlando.

Beginning his new role at the start of December, Alfson brings extensive experience in nonprofit management and community building.

The former Patron Engagement Manager for the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park has also served on Main Street committees with both Mills50 and the Church Street District.

Alfson will lead efforts in The Milk District to enhance and preserve the small business community while continuing to develop and nurture arts and culture within the creative district.

“I’m thrilled to step into this position with the district,” said Alfson. “The Milk District has long been a home, and I am looking forward to energizing the vision of the committed business community and our neighbors throughout the region to make The Milk District an amazing place to live, work, and play.”
